Yelo, formerly known as Choices, is a cafe located within The Brunei Hotel. When the client approached us, one of their main objectives to rebrand was to create an ‘Instagrammable’ space that attracts the younger generation, particularly Millennials and Gen Z - the age groups that the previous identity was not able to capture.
The entire identity and concept were created from the name ‘Yelo’ - You Enjoy Life Once.
Nestled in the heart of the capital amongst office buildings, Yelo transports you away from the hustle and bustle of life. It’s a place to kick back and relax over good food and good company. The brand’s fun and playful personality is reflected in the signature yellow and cheeky copywriting used across its packaging and bright ‘tunnel’ interior.
We have also worked with the chef to develop a completely new menu to match the positioning.
Playquarters worked with Yelo to develop a brand identity, naming, cafe concept, positioning, art direction, menu, illustrations, packaging, photography and environmental design.
