Home is where the gelato is

Rumah Gelato began as a humble home business that very soon became a local favourite. With expansion in the pipeline, Rumah Gelato felt the need to be perceived as a company that makes authentic Italian gelato with a local twist - and a brand and personality that speak to the Bruneian audience.

We were approached to provide the brand with a solid positioning. The establishment prides on its use of local ingredients and flavours. Hence, the tagline ‘Home is where the gelato is’ was conceived. The word ‘rumah’, in Malay, also means home. We also introduced vibrant visuals and a tone of voice that is fun, relatable and engaging.

Playquarters worked with Rumah Gelato to develop a brand identity, positioning, art direction, illustrations, packaging, merchandise design and digital marketing materials.
